The five programs differ mostly in what is worked into your skin and how long you stay. The Turkish hammam is the original and the plainest, milk mask and foam, around two hours. Cleopatra trades the milk for coconut soap and adds a face mask; the Moroccan works with coffee soap and a coffee scrub, which smells as good as it sounds. Above those sit two rituals of two and a half hours, divided evenly between bathing and massage: the Ramses, which sends you through a second hammam as well as the first, and the Chocolate, whose scrub is cocoa and coconut.

- Women are treated by female therapists and men by male therapists, across every program and every treatment. It is fixed policy, so there is nothing you need to request.
- Treatments are available to guests aged 12 and over. Anyone under 18 has to be accompanied by an adult. Infants and younger children cannot be treated.
- Appointments run on the hour, with slots at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00. Allow about two hours for the shorter programs, from arrival to the last cup of tea, and about two and a half for the two longest, with roughly thirty-five minutes of driving in each direction on top. The last appointment of the day, 18:00, has you back in El Gouna a little after nine.
