Overview

You set out by jeep across open desert to the Colored Canyon, winding on foot through a narrow labyrinth of sandstone streaked in gold, rust and violet, then on to the Red Canyon where the rock seems to catch fire in the sun. Back on the coast, the legendary Blue Hole opens beneath you — a near-perfect ring of deep water rimmed with coral, where parrotfish and angelfish drift through reef gardens just below the surface.
Between the swims you ride a camel along the shore the way the Bedouin always have, share a grilled BBQ lunch in the shade by the sea, and open the throttle on a quad bike down the coastline.
