Hurghada: Orange Island Speedboat, Snorkeling & Parasailing
Your own speedboat to Orange Island for up to nine people: two snorkelling stops on Giftun's reefs, two hours on the sandbar, and the option to fly over the Red Sea by parasail. Hotel pickup, national park and island entry, and all snorkelling gear included.
Overview
Most boats to Orange Bay run on someone else's timetable, with someone else's crowd. Yours does not. A speedboat is waiting at the marina for your group alone, and for the next five hours the only schedule that matters is the one you set on board.
Twenty minutes out, the engine drops and the water goes clear enough to see the shadow of the hull on the sand below. You go in. The reef starts shallow โ a wall of it, fish moving through the coral in numbers that stop feeling countable โ and the boat, the wind and everyone else simply switch off. You come up when you are ready, not when somebody blows a whistle.
Then comes the part you did not plan for. Strapped in behind the boat, you lift off the water, and Orange Bay rearranges itself beneath you: the sandbar thinning to a bright line, the reefs showing as dark shapes you had swum over without ever seeing their shape. You spend most of your life at ground level, inside your own scale. Ten minutes above the Red Sea is a quiet correction to that.
By mid-afternoon the island is shrinking behind you and nobody is hurrying you off the deck. Salt dries on your skin, the cool box is still open, and the boat stays yours until the marina. You booked a speedboat and a beach. What you take home is a day that belonged entirely to your own group โ and a slightly rearranged sense of how big the Red Sea really is.
