You reach a traditional Bedouin camp just as the first stars appear. Settle in with sweet herbal Bedouin tea and warm flatbread baked fresh on the saj, take an optional short camel ride, and explore the camp before a generous BBQ buffet dinner is served under the open sky.
Then the night truly begins. Far from any city light, an astronomy guide sets up a professional telescope and walks you through the sky overhead, from bright planets and constellations to, on nights near the new moon, the Milky Way stretching from horizon to horizon.
