Your day starts with a hotel pickup in Makadi Bay and an easy cruise out to Orange Island. You'll have an hour and a half or more to wander the powder-soft beach and wade into the warm shallows before the boat carries you to the first reef, where masks and fins are ready and a professional instructor guides your introductory scuba dive down among the fish.
Between swims, a fresh buffet lunch is served on board as the Red Sea stretches out around you. A second reef stop follows — clearer, quieter, just as full of life — before the boat turns back toward Makadi. These are protected waters on the edge of the Giftun reserve, and it shows in the colour of the coral and how close the fish come.
